Cancellation Policy

By booking a call-out service, you acknowledge and agree that the call-out fee covers attendance by a qualified marine electrician at the nominated vessel location and includes up to two hours on site. The two-hour period commences from the time the electrician arrives at the vessel and includes fault finding, testing, diagnostics, minor adjustments, and professional advice using standard tools and equipment. If the work required exceeds the included two hours, any additional time and labour will be charged separately. Continued work beyond the initial two-hour call-out will only proceed with the client’s approval. Time required for extended diagnostics, sourcing parts, return visits, or follow-up work is not included in the call-out fee and will incur additional charges. The call-out fee does not include the cost of parts or materials. Any parts supplied will be charged separately and, where possible, pricing will be discussed prior to installation. In some cases, parts availability or final pricing may only be confirmed after inspection of the vessel or system. The call-out service covers assessment of the issue described at the time of booking. If multiple faults, unrelated issues, or complex system problems are identified, additional time may be required or a separate booking may be recommended. The electrician will advise if the scope of work exceeds what can reasonably be completed within the standard call-out period. Clients are responsible for ensuring the vessel is accessible and ready for inspection at the scheduled booking time. Delays caused by restricted access, unavailable power, or vessel readiness may reduce the effective service time included within the call-out. By completing a call-out booking, you confirm that you understand the call-out fee includes up to two hours on site only and that any additional time, labour, or parts required will be charged separately based on the work undertaken.
